"A fantastic gem of a place. We really enjoyed being out in the country and the fantastic amenities which made it comfortable. We cooked out on the fire pit every night and when it rained we sat in sundowner with a glass of wine. We even went on the boat on the lake (just at the bottom of hill). We spent the nights in the hot tub enjoying the light of the stars, free from the usual light pollution we get from coming from a big city! The  owners were so accommodating, bringing us a map on our second day with suggested walks around their land. We couldn’t recommend this place enough."

"We had an amazing stay at Cowslip Hut. The surroundings are beautiful and we definitely made the most of all the wonderful facilities, especially the hot tub! The views are idyllic any time of day. A very treasured and memorable weekend. Thanks so much."

"The most relaxing at one with nature stay. We switched off and enjoyed the peace in the gorgeous hot tub. The owners have thought of everything and this place didn't disappoint, the little touches in the shepherd's hut were just beautiful, our only regret is that we weren't staying longer!"

"I couldn’t recommend Cowslip enough. The location is beautifully peaceful and tranquil. Despite being in the middle of ‘a field’ you have all of the luxuries and amenities you would expect from a 5* hotel with the added little touches of her personality. We stayed for three nights and four days and could easily have bunked down for the rest of the week. If you’re considering whether or not to book here - do it! For a relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle of it all, this place is perfection. 100% recommend."

"We had a lovely stay. The owners have considered every detail and were also very responsive and welcoming. The hut is furnished beautifully and bed is very comfy! "Wow, what a great trip! The owners were so friendly and welcoming to us. The place was amazing and beautiful. If you're looking for a great nature trip look no further. It's hard to explain, but when you visit you will see. The hut, hot tub, views and setting were fantastic. We had such a lovely time in the countryside. The lake was lovely and the hosts were amazing. I can't thank them enough for the way we were treated and the effort they went to to make the stay lovely. I would recommend this place highly and I will definitely be returning in the future. 10/10"
